I had a really nice chat with a couple Seattle music scene pals of mine recently! Ian Cheshire and Joel Dumois have been fixtures of the scene around here for longer than I’ve been in Seattle, and I’ve always admired and loved working with both of them. They recently started this podcast to try and pass along some of the vast body of knowledge they’ve collected over their storied careers, and I was honored to be asked to be a guest on it! We talked about just a few of the many twists and turns my own career has taken (gotta leave room for a sequel!) – mostly focused on the live music stuff I do, although we touched on the radio promo as well as film festival work, which are both very near and dear to my heart as well of course. But I have too many jobs and there’s not enough time to talk about them all – this was a great convo anyway, love these guys!!
